Lockable gas springs

We supply our lockable gas springs in both steel and stainless steel316 or as a hybrid version.

Lockable Steel

Our lockable gas springs are equipped with a black painted cylinder and hard chrome plated piston rod. Can be used as standard from -30°C to +80°C and provided with NBR seals.

Lockable stainless steel 316

Our stainless steel lockable gas springs are technically identical to the steel version, but then completely electro polished from stainless steel 316, provided with laser print coding and standard Viton seals.

All our lockable gas springs are available in four main versions:

  • Elastic.
  • 100% Rigid in compression.
  • 100% Rigid in extension.
  • Flat Curve (very low progression).

The Flat Curve gas spring is a completely new gas spring which is often used in table systems. The characteristics of this type are in particular the very low progression and low friction in combination with a long stroke.

As standard, the lockable gas springs have a 2.5 mm operating distance (from the pin). On request, a 3.5 and 0.5 mm control is possible. This depends on the type of release system you want to use. All lockable gas springs have a metric fine thread on the piston rod side. The cylinder side can be provided with metric thread or welded eyelet. Automatic release is also possible.

On request we can supply the gas springs in different colors such as White/Alu RAL9006.

For the various possibilities and combinations, please contact us. Especially for the food processing industry, we can produce our gas springs in fully FDA approved quality.

If you already have the correct specifications of an existing gas spring, you can download this “Black Box” drawing, fill in and return it to us. We can then send you our price based on these specifications.

Do you have a 3D model? We can also open this model and, if desired, adapt it and fit it with the correct gas spring.
