How does a Brimotech gas spring work?

Our gas spring consists of a cylinder (C) and a piston rod (S) to which the piston (P) is attached. When the piston rod with piston is pushed into the cylinder, nitrogen moves from chamber (B) to chamber (A) through special channels. By adjusting these channels, we can adjust the behavior of the gas spring, such as speeds and damping. The pressure in both chambers is equal, so the difference in area of the piston on side (A) and side (B) ensures that the piston rod is always pushed out of the cylinder. Range of gas springs

Our standard gas springs have a black painted steel cylinder and a hard chrome plated piston rod. Our steel gas springs come standard in the color black (RAL 9005), the stainless steel 316 is standard electro-polished and equipped with Viton seals. We have both lockable and non-blockable gas springs in our range. Due to the wide choice of connection parts, almost any configuration is possible.
